According to recent estimates, there is an average of one student with ADHD in every classroom in the United States. For this reason, it is essential that teachers - in collaboration with other education professionals such as school psychologists, counselors, special education staff, and administrators - know how to design, implement, and evaluate a range of empirically grounded, school-based strategies to promote the academic and social success of children with ADHD.

This dynamic video demonstrates an innovative model for assessing ADHD in the schools. In a departure from other approaches, the authors depict assessment as a collaborative, problem-solving process that is inextricably linked to the planning of individualized interventions.

This video includes an accompanying manual that serves as a useful reference and hands-on tool. It contains additional details and background information on the assessment procedures and methods presented in the video.
