This program is divided into two videos. The first video, Just Another Day, is an absorbing live-action drama which recreates the all-too-common events that have typically led up to tragic, violent outbursts such as those that have recently exploded in several school systems across the country.
The second video, Perspectives on School Violence: A Teacher’s Resource, features leading violence prevention authorities discussing:
- How to identify potentially violent students,
- How to create a comprehensive plan in your school to prevent possible violence,
- How to create a safe school environment,
- Why it’s important to involve the entire school community in this effort.
