Angela M. Delloso


Angela DellosoAngela M. Delloso, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), is a special education teacher for Shelby County Schools in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, she serves students with autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disabilities. Her expertise includes using applied behavior analysis (ABA) through such evidence-based practices as verbal behavior, discrete trial training, and incidental teaching. She is also an expert in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.

Delloso began her career in special education over 16 years ago. She holds a bachelor’s degree in special education from the University of Memphis and a master’s degree in Behavior Analysis and Therapy from Southern Illinois University. In 2010 she earned her administrator’s license through the Educational Leadership Program at Christian Brothers University.

Delloso’s experience includes serving as a lead clinician with the Childhood Autism Project, and as a Student Response Team Consultant, providing training for special and general education teachers, parents, administrators, school psychologists, paraprofessionals, and related service providers. She has also worked closely with many families providing in-home parent training.

Delloso is the co-author of Social Skills Games and Activities for Kids With Autism (Prufrock Press, 2013) and she has presented at local, state, national, and international conferences. For NPR, Inc. she is co-author (with Wendy Ashcroft) of the laminated guide Autism: Classroom Success with Applied Behavior Analysis. She lives in Lakeland, Tennessee with her husband and two children.
