Ann I. Nevin, PhD was professor emerita at Arizona State University and visiting professor at Florida International University. She was recognized for her scholarship and her dedication to providing teachers with meaningful, practice-oriented, research-based strategies to integrate students with special learning needs into the general classroom. She is the author of several books, research articles, and, with Richard Villa and Jacqueline Thousand, the laminated guide, Co-Teaching at a Glance. 

Her advocacy, research, and teaching spanned more than 38 years of working with a diverse array of people to help students with disabilities succeed in normalized school environments.
