RTI & ELLs: Response To Intervention & English Language Learners

English language learners (ELLs)—students who speak a language other than English at home and enter school scoring below proficient on English assessments—are among the fastest growing populations in US schools. It is critical that these students receive systemic support as needed to overcome the challenges associated with being non-native English speakers.
